Once the event concludes in 2021, the three main pavilions will be combined and transformed into a National Museum to celebrate the achievements of the Expo.

Dubai’s World Expo will be held under the theme of Connecting Minds, Creating the Future! U.S. based Architect Firm HOK Architects won the proposal to design with their master plan, beating rival Zaha Hadid Architects who proposed to design Lagoon-side Park in the Turkish city of Izmir.

At the centre of the site is The Al Wasl Plaza rests, a gigantic main pavilion domed by a 360-degree screen. What’s more exciting is the ability of the screen to project to visitors both outside and inside the dome. This is made possible by the use of translucent projection surface, making the pavilion both a technological, design and construction project that effectively showcasing what Dubai has to offer.

    The Demand for Accommodations

The global fair is expected to attract hordes of local and foreign tourists, not to mention the representatives to be sent by the participating countries. With this in mind, there is a need for more hospitality facilities to accommodate the incoming number of tourists. Aside from this, the renovation industry has been picking up its pace, especially in light of the ever-changing trends. Because of this, various refurbishment and fit-out projects are being held.

With this trend, many of Dubai’s construction companies have the chance of becoming an expo 2020 interior contractor.

In the grand nature of the exposition, Dubai is set to be the venue of a historical event that not only explores the capabilities of each country but also brings people together. The world cannot wait for Expo 2020 and the benefits it can offer Dubai, the UAE and the rest of the world.
